Hezbollah fires “dozens” of rockets at Israel in response to the death of two civilians

The Lebanese Shia group Hezbollah announced this Tuesday that it has launched “dozens” of rockets against the town of Margaliotin northern Israel, in response to a previous Israeli bombing that killed a woman and a girl in a home in southern Lebanon.

“The fighters of the Islamic Resistance attacked the colony of Margaliot, the occupied Lebanese town of Hunín, late this Tuesday afternoon with dozens of ‘Katyusha’ rockets,” the armed movement said in a statement.

According to the note, the launch was a response to an attack carried out by Israeli aircraft against a house in the Lebanese town of Hanine, where this afternoon the National News Agency (ANN) had reported the death of a woman and her minor niece.

The state media also reported that six other people were injured in the bombing of the house, which was completely destroyed by the impact of two missiles.

In addition to the action against Margaliot, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for seven more attacks on Tuesday against groups of soldiers and military positions in the north of the Jewish State, the most prominent of them with several drones against a barracks located about 15 kilometers from the common border.

According to a statement issued by the Shiite formation, its drones charged against the “headquarters of the Golani Brigade and the Egoz Unit 621 in the Shraga field, north of the occupied city of Acre”, one of the furthest points. attacked since the start of the crossfire more than half a year ago.

These clashes take place within the framework of the Gaza war, and are the most serious between Hezbollah and Israel since the conflict they fought in 2006.
