Andorra la VellaA woman reported to the police that she was receiving charges on her credit card that she had not made. There were thirteen payments and the police went to the establishments where the purchases had been made. Specifically, it was the Gaspar de la Massana restaurant, the Elf d’Ordino gas station and in different supermarkets. In total, the expenditure had been 132 euros.
The agents asked to consult the security cameras of the establishments. There was not much investigative work to identify the author of the fraudulent use because the times of card payments coincided with the same man in the establishments concerned.
The affected woman did not claim any amount because the insurer had already covered the hole. He was sentenced to 45 days of probation, which he will not serve as long as he does not reoffend within two years.
