Andorra la VellaThe platform Decent Housing issued a statement in response to the low turnout in the demonstration of theMay 1expressing his perspective on this issue and reaffirming his commitment to the fight for decent housing in Andorra.
“Despite reaching around 200 people in the town square, we reached 700 people at the time of greatest influx. With previous days with so much rain, and the same day with cold and rain, many elderly people or families with children, they could not come or only accompanied us for a section. But as we have already announced, the most important thing is the people we have arrived during the previous days and the same day. All the workers we visited and that they felt challenged. And, above all, all the colleagues who join and organize themselves. We have recovered a May 1 that was lost in 2023. Finally, to remember those who celebrate that we were few in the rain,” declares the platform.
“They also celebrated that we were 700/800 people at the Council rally, and 2 weeks later we were 3,500 people on the street. We are not concerned about the war of numbers” said Habitatge Digne in its statement, highlighting its concentration in the continuity and the effectiveness of its mission, regardless of the figures that may be presented.
