Andorra la VellaThe government has agreed to announce the opening of the call for scholarships for Andorran nationals who want to study master’s or doctorate level studies in Japan. The start of studies is in April or September/October 2025 depending on the chosen studies. Interested persons must meet the conditions established in the bases of the call for scholarships in Japan, which can be consulted at: https://www.fr.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_fr/bourse-etudes-recherche.html
Applications must be addressed, accompanied by the documents that determine the bases, by post to the Embassy of Japan in the Principality or by email to: [email protected]. A copy of the application and accompanying documents must be sent to the Department of Higher Education, Research and Technological Innovation by email, to: eménysó[email protected]. The deadline for submission of applications begins once the edict is published in the BOPA next Wednesday and ends on May 15.
This scholarship is offered thanks to the agreement signed with the Japanese country years ago, and which allows students of Andorran nationality the possibility of accessing the master’s and doctoral level scholarship program. The amount of aid offered by the Government of Japan covers travel expenses in Japan, study registration fees and an estimated monthly amount of between 143,000 and 145,000 yen, depending on the type and level of studies chosen .
