Andorra la VellaThe Commune of Andorra la Vella has reported to the Police the acts of vandalism that took place this weekend in several places in the parish, with particular impact on the Center Ciutat car park.
The incidents have generated concern and consternation among the users of the Prat de la Creu communal car park and the facilities located in the building. Faced with the facts and after assessing the damage, in coordination with the relevant authorities, the Consul Major of Andorra la Vella, Sergi González, plans to hold talks in the next few hours with the Minister of Justice and Interior, Ester Molné, at turn of the question to find synergies and prevent this kind of situations.
In this sense, and in the knowledge that those responsible for the events have already been identified by the law enforcement body, the Common trusts that justice will act with the utmost diligence and firmness to continue guaranteeing security and tranquility in the country. In the same way, with the aim of ensuring the well-being of citizens and preventing future incidents, the corporation will increase human resources dedicated to surveillance and will install new security cameras at points in the Center Ciutat car park.
Finally, the Commune appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the population in relation to the notification and warning of incidents and invites anyone with relevant information to contact the communal authorities. Work to restore the damaged spaces has already begun.
