ALISON Hammond made her official debut on For The Love Of Dogs tonight.
The This Morning presenter took over the lead of the show following the sad passing of Paul O’Grady.
But viewers were in tears after the show made sure to pay tribute to the legendary host.
At the very start of the show – now fronted by Alison Hammond – the opening montage included an emotional nod to the late star.
The show initially followed the Paul as he visited the staff and the four legged pups of the world renowned Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
But fans were left in bits as camera showed an adorable Pomeranian looking up at a monument dedicated to Paul.
It read: “In loving memory of our beloved ambassador.
“Paul O’Grady MBE 1955 – 2023.”
