Every Logan Paul WWE Match Ranked

Logan Paul has taken the WWE and professional wrestling world by storm since making his in-ring debut with the company at WrestleMania 38 in 2022. A slow start with a cameo during the Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens feud at WrestleMania 37 led to him stepping foot between the ropes the following year, and since then he has earned the right to be called a WWE superstar despite a lot of negativity coming his way.

UPDATE: 2024/05/02 17:30 EST BY ANDREW KELLY

The more time goes on, the more Logan Paul keeps piling up impressive matches in WWE. Despite still having a lot to learn, Paul has become a definitive part-time attraction, though 2024 has seen him compete at a more regular rate than his previous two years in WWE thus far. Paul continues his reign as United States Champion, defending the gold in a big match at WrestleMania 40. Additionally, Paul also competed in his first Elimination Chamber match and his first television match. These three bouts have offered up both some of his best and worst matches throughout Paul’s WWE career to this point.

The Miz

Elimination Chamber Qualifying

This match between The Miz and Logan Paul was not bad by any means, but it was certainly the least remarkable of Paul’s run in WWE thus far. All of this moves were pretty decent, but this lacked in storytelling and pyschology – a part of his game that Paul still really needs to learn. The bright lights of his first TV match and a bout without any build, Paul looked out of his element for this first time in his WWE run.

It was a solid clash, but Paul and Miz would have a much better match against each other on PPV.

Rey Mysterio

United States Championship Match

On paper, Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio should’ve been a banger. In execution, it was actually Paul’s lowest-quality match of his WWE career so far. This isn’t to say it was bad, because everything was done pretty well and he looked good in there, but it lacked psychology and storytelling.

There were too many pinfall attempts which stunted the momentum of the match, and the disinterested crowd was evidence of that.

It is no surprise that Logan Paul’s very first match in WWE was his weakest one, but that isn’t to say it was bad. In fact, Paul shone in this match, pulling out moves with crispness and ease, with the likes of Rey Mysterio using his veteran ability to make Paul look good.

The match overall was pretty basic, with some extended beatdowns and comebacks like most tag team matches. In the end, Paul helped his team score the win before The Miz attacked him after the bell for a poorly executed babyface turn.

There were several strong spots in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, with the likes of Butch, Ricochet, and Logan Paul being among those who stood out the most. Paul put his body on the line, not shying away from ladder bumps and crazy spots, though his massive Spanish Fly botch at the end of the match was an unfortunate talking point.

It did feel like a step down from some of the previous Money in the Bank ladder matches though, with perhaps not as much star power or wrestlers with a whole load of momentum. The decision for LA Knight to not win left a sour taste for many fans as well.

Logan Paul’s most recent match came against Ricochet, and it was perhaps the most conventional wrestling match he’s had yet. He played the dominant heel, putting the heat on Ricochet and strutting around the ring.

There were many exciting spots and high-flying offensive moves, but they weren’t just randomly thrown in and were instead built up each time. The match maybe lost its way slightly in the middle, but it got back on track by the end where Paul got the win by using a pair of brass knuckles.

Logan Paul’s first United States Championship defense proved to be a strong one, as he was put through the ringer by a vicious and violent Kevin Owens, who convicned fans with his brutality that he really does not like Logan Paul. He beat the hell out of Paul, who did manage to get some flurries and dominant offense in here and there.

It was an exciting match with a decent pace, and whilst some may groan at the disqualification finish, it was actually done really well. Paul tried to follow the same brass knuckles formula as his previous matches, though this time Owens manages to take them off and use them himself. Midway through the pinfall, the referee noticed that Owens still had the knucks on his wrist, leading to a very creative DQ ending.

Drew McIntyre was the clear star of this match, being presented as a dominant competitor as he won the match. Logan Paul looked good as usual, and he added a lot of storyline beats and helped to build to WrestleMania, adding to his feud with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

In the case of Orton, his selling carried the latter part of this match, putting in a wonderful performance. This wasn’t a very hard-hitting match, but it had a lot of important build and story within it. Everything was well executed and smooth, with some big spots here and there.

It was exciting, and it was capped off with a massive leap through the announce table from Paul, with no one expecting him to pull off something like that.

He played the cowardly heel role well, trying to avoid the double team offense dished out by Orton and Owens. This triple threat bout flowed well, it had some nice spots, and it had a great structure.

Like all of Paul’s best matches, this featured some silliness with the cameo of streamer IShowSpeed, who recieved a viral RKO on the announce table.
