Andorra la VellaThe Roads Directorate of South-West France has informed that the works to improve road access to the Principality, near l’Hospitalet-près-l’Andorre, on the RN320, will generate a modification of the route. The work consists of building an avalanche gallery 300 meters long. The work will last two years, 2024 and 2025, from May to November with an interruption during the winter. During the work, the RN320 will be closed to traffic between the northern entrance of the Puymorens tunnel and the southern junction between the RN320 and the RN22 in the department of Arieja (RN2209).
To maintain access to the Puymorens pass and Andorra, the RN22-09, recently rehabilitated, will be used as a detour during the closure of the RN320. The detour will not affect users who want to use the Puymorens tunnel. The necessary signage will be installed during the night from 13 to 14/05 from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This will cause a total closure of the RN320 during this time slot at the height of La Croisade, between the junction with the RN20 and the junction with the RN22 in the Pyrenees Orientales. People who want to go to Pas de la Casa from l’Hospitalet-près-l’Andorre will have to take the tunnel and go up the pass from Porté-Puymorens.
