Andorra la VellaA family of French tourists was occupying room number 401 of a hotel in Andorra. Before it was time for them to leave, they vacated the room without warning and left. They owed 209 euros for the room and 30 for expenses in the minibar. The man who had made the reservation was requested, the first time by telephone, and he replied that he had already paid when the person who was calling him knew perfectly well that the bill had not been paid.
The establishment made several attempts to contact him. First through Whatsapp, where he no longer responded to messages, and later with letters to his address. The hotel was unable to speak to the man any more and finally took the case to the Batllia. The man has been convicted of fraud, in rebellion since he did not appear at the trial, and the only effect it will have is that if he returns to Andorra he will be arrested and will have to pay the money. And that he has a criminal record.
