Punk was inadvertently left behind as everyone else left for the night. With no one around to rescue him, Punk said he missed his flight home and found himself with time to kill. Noting he was curious to see how long it would take for anyone to notice there was someone still in the building, he had no idea who worked on weekends. So, in a series of Instagram stories, he humorously chronicled his adventures as he roamed the halls of WWE HQ, likening himself to the Phantom of the Opera.
Punk’s escapades included sneaking around the WWE gym and getting in a workout, contemplating becoming a permanent resident of the headquarters, and even stumbling upon a door labeled “Executive Wellness,” which he amusingly remarked sounded “really fancy.” Despite his predicament (not sure if this is real or staged), Punk maintained his sense of humor throughout the ordeal, talking about his “bed head” and “same clothes” as he continued to evade detection. He checked out some of the posters on the walls, hit the Andre the Giant statue in the groin, and got into other mischief.
