IT WILL be the first of many over the season when a tractor and vintage car run takes place in Castlecomer on Sunday 21 April.
Throughout the spring and summer months, tractor and classic car enthusiasts take to country roads, but the outing that’s been organised by St Mary’s and The Colliery parish in Castlecomer must be one of the earliest.
The route will start at Joe Coogan Auctioneers, Ballycomey House, in the village. Registration will be from 11am, with cars and tractors leaving at 1pm.
Parking and catering facilities will be provided and refreshments will be served before and after the event.
Entry fee is €20 for each vehicle and proceeds are in aid of St Mary’s and The Colliery parish. A raffle will be held on the day, with numerous prizes.
