CARLOW Voices captivated the audience at their recent spring choral concert in St Mary’s Church, Carlow.

Under the baton of artistic director Marian Gaynor, the choir showcased their creative spirit with a programme that featured a mix of fresh works and old gems.

Speaking after the performance, Ms Gaynor, musical director of Carlow Voices, said: “The concert showcased Carlow Voices’ inimitable style, with highlights from their choral repertoire spanning a variety of styles and genres. The audience was treated to a range of choral gems from composers such as Eric Whitacre, Karl Jenkins and Hans Zimmer.”

Accompanied by a talented four-piece band featuring Maeve Lyons on piano, Emma Picovici on cello, Niall Kelly on bass and John Gladney on percussion, Carlow Voices delivered a memorable performance that left attendees in awe.
