Another six months without granting any planning permission in Ordino

I orderIn the session of the Common Council, today’s most prominent item on the agenda was the approval of the Decree which extends by six months, the period of temporary suspension of new planning licenses, agreed now a year ago by decree, on May 5, 2023. Thus, the new calendar proposes November 5, as a new deadline, a period that will include the new public exhibition of the POUP. After provisional approval, it will be presented to the CTU, which has a maximum of one year to review it.

The Commons has considered it necessary to extend the deadline, given the complexity and scope of the allegations presented during the public information period, which closed last March 6 with 220 allegations. The councilor and the councilor of the minority, Enric Dolsa and Jordina Bringué, have been favorable to the extension presented, just as they were with the approval of the Plan, as they have said.

Regarding the criteria for modifying the Plan, the Consul Major has advanced: “Although we do not yet have the drawing, the intention is to leave the area around the urban centers as they are, but to redefine the residential areas”. Coma wanted to convey a reassuring and consistent message with respect to the previous text, since it wants maximum consensus: “the new parameters will give priority to the protection of the environment and the quality of life of the inhabitants”.
