In this latest film, the actress plays Andy Sachs, a recently graduated journalist who obtains the job “a million girls would kill for”, that of personal assistant to Miranda Priestly, the magazine’s editor runway (character inspired by Anna Wintour, director of Vogue).

Now that Anne Hathaway has returned to romantic comedies with The Idea of Having You, she wanted pay tribute to a movie so special with a dress that, as soon as we saw it, we all thought of Miranda Priestly.
The actress appeared at the New York photocall with an impressive dress that, this time, was signed by Versace. It is a strapless design, one of the most trendy necklines of the season, whose sides were finished with peaks, that were reminiscent of the horns of a Devil.
The body was of a corset style with two sensual openings both under the breast and in the front of the skirta, achieving a ‘femme fatale’ look that reminds us of the autumn-winter 22 collection of the Italian brand. Of course, it is a design tailor-made for the artist, with which she became the center of all eyes.
Hathaway combined it with Bvlgari earrings and rings, dispensing with the necklace so that the dress took on more prominence. The same thing happened with his ‘beauty look’, reducing it to a high ponytail and bangs and makeup with very luminous skin in which his eyes stood out.
A cathartic film
In The Idea of Having You, we talk about the age difference in relationships and the harassment and demolition that a person can suffer on social networks when exposed to the public eye, something that the actress has suffered in spades. Now, Hathaway stars in the film based on Robinne Lee’s novel, a ‘fanfic‘ (generally romantic story created by fans) that became famous for being inspired by Harry Styles’ period in the group One Direction, where social norms are questioned and the audience is invited to think before speaking.
“I like that this movie questions the reasons that lead people to bite their tongues when they notice a relationship between a man and a young girl, and, instead, They feel very free to give their opinion when the woman is the eldest“says Anne.
The film invites us to reflect on how questions the sexuality of women after 40 years of agethe age in which the artist is, delving into female desire and the invisibilization of women when she reaches this decade.
