Andorra la VellaThe Consulate has implemented changes to speed up the participation of resident Catalans in the upcoming elections on May 12, where around 15,000 citizens have the right to vote. Two electoral colleges will be established, one for the province of Barcelona and another for the rest of the Catalan territory, with the aim of avoiding long queues as seen in previous elections.
Seconds RTVA, participation levels between 10% and 20% of those registered are expected, approximately 15,000 people, although it is expected to exceed the figures of previous elections. To facilitate voting, voting will be allowed during the weekend before the election, as well as during the days 6, 7, 8 and 9 May.
