Andorra la VellaAgents of the Mossos d’Esquadra were alerted at 15.36 hours because an accident had occurred at a company located on the street on the way to Surp de Rialp (Pallars Sobirà ).
For reasons that are being investigated, a man was hit by a log that fell when he was going to put it in a machine to process wood, causing very serious injuries that have caused the death of the worker.
Various units of the Mossos d’Esquadra and SEM have participated in the management of the accident.
The victim is a 55-year-old man from Sort.
The Mossos have brought the facts to the attention of the investigative court in Tremp duty and the Department of Business and Work, in accordance with the usual procedures in occupational accidents with fatalities.
