Andorra la VellaThe Majadahonda judge who is investigating the Brodie operation, of alleged corruption linked to the Real Spanish Football Federation, has ordered in an act this Monday the blocking of the bank account of the company Kosmos Football, linked to the president of the FC Andorra, Gerard Pique. The Civil Guard wants to check if Piqué paid commissions to Rubiales for the Super Cup from his accounts in Andorra.
The judge explains in her letter that she is carrying out this action to prevent the company from having the success commission of 3 million euros, which it receives for each edition of the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia from the company SELA Company Sport, which will be able to continue making transfers. In this way, the judge attends to the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, to secure the money in the event that this company incurs civil liability. Kosmos Football, associated with Piqué, is being investigated in the Brodie operation for business corruption, mismanagement and money laundering. The prosecutor has requested this measure to block the Kosmos account when two years have passed since the searches began.
