Westbound Colfax Avenue is closed between Macon and Lima streets following a vehicle collision that critically injured a pedestrian, according to police.
Aurora police said in a social media post at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday that the man struck was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the driver remained on-scene.
Police said investigators are working to determine what led up to the crash, which occurred near Colfax and Macon.
