What are your top three priorities, if elected?
Affordable and workforce housing. This is a regional issue that will take collaboration with other jurisdictions. JeffCo families should be able to afford to live where they work, go to school, and recreate.
Wildfire prevention and mitigation. JeffCo is at high risk for wildfires, and prevention is absolutely critical.
Clean air, water, and climate change action. Under my leadership, JeffCo has instituted a Climate Action Plan. We must continue to do our part to solve this existential crisis.

Recent polling has shown trust in government hovering at historically low levels and stark partisan divides in views of election integrity. What will you do to bridge those gaps?
Hold open, public town halls. Make sure our budget process is open and transparent. Support our extremely effective election process. Call out and condemn when individuals or groups promote false narratives.

What specific actions would you support to improve affordability for your county’s residents, whether aimed at housing costs, tax burdens or other impacts?
Support our housing initiatives and non-profits, while working with our municipalities. Fight for fair compensation and health benefits. Ensure that all tax funds are well-spent.

What specific opportunities do you see for collaboration between Denver and your county on common challenges?
Housing. Transportation. Climate action. Health care and human services. Open Space and recreation. Many people who use our county services and opportunities might not realize if they are in Denver, JeffCo, or any other jurisdiction. I regularly collaborate with leaders from around the region to identify and work to solve our shared issues.
