Comment: It’s one thing to beat Valor. It’s quite another to pile up 662 yards and 62 points while doing it. This week: vs. ThunderRidge, 7 p.m. Friday.
2. Cherry Creek 5-1 1 W (45-0 at Cherokee Trail)
Comment: Bruins beat C.T. by 45 and fall in rankings? Sorry, Mountain Vista was just that good vs. Valor. This week: vs. Arapahoe, 7 p.m. Thursday.
3. Columbine 6-0 3 W (34-9 at Denver East)
Comment: Rebels have won 20 straight, but getting to 21 will be no easy task against resurgent A-West. This week: vs. Arvada West, 4 p.m. Friday.

Comment: Titans lurking with salty defense that has 44 TFLs and 11 takeaways through six games. This week: vs. Chaparral, 7 p.m. Friday.

Comment: Eagles get immediate shot at redemption with ninth-ranked Sabercats paying visit. This week: vs. No. 9 Castle View, 7 p.m. Friday.
6. Ralston Valley 5-1 8 W (15-12 at No. 10 Chatfield)
Comment: Mustangs rebounded nicely from first loss. Columbine awaits in two weeks. This week: vs. Denver South, 7 p.m. Thursday.

Comment: Sabercats get second prove-it opportunity in three weeks with trip to Valor. This week: at No. 4 Valor Christian, 7 p.m. Friday.

Comment: After scoring 17 points over previous two games, Eagles got their offense back on track. This week: at Adams City, 7 p.m. Thursday.
6. Palmer Ridge 5-1 6 W (46-14 vs. Air Academy)
Comment: Bears’ road trip to SW Colorado will be tall task in many ways. This week: at No. 9 Durango, 6 p.m. Friday.
7. Riverdale Ridge 6-0 7 W (49-0 at Skyline)
Comment: Ravens have two more hurdles between them and massive game at Broomfield. This week: vs. Longmont, 7 p.m. Friday.
8. Vista Ridge 4-2 8 W (54-35 at Liberty)
Comment: Combined record of Wolves’ last four opponents in league? A tidy 16-8. This week: vs. Rampart, 7 p.m. Friday.
9. Durango 4-2 9 W (21-6 at Rampart)
Comment: Demons red hot with four-game win streak heading into Palmer Ridge’s visit. This week: vs. No. 6 Palmer Ridge, 6 p.m. Friday.
10. Heritage 3-3 10 W (28-7 vs. Golden)
Comment: One thing is certain: Eagles will win on Thursday night at Jeffco Stadium. This week: at No. 2 Dakota Ridge, 7 p.m. Thursday.

Comment: Trip to Johnstown will be Panthers’ fourth matchup vs. ranked opponent this season. This week: at No. 4 Roosevelt, 7 p.m. Thursday.
