Colorado football continues to be must-watch TV.

On Monday, the Buffaloes’ Oct. 19 game at Arizona was announced as a 2 p.m. MDT kickoff. The game in Tucson, Ariz., will be broadcast nationally on Fox.

CU (4-1, 2-0 Big 12), which hosts Kansas State (4-1, 1-1) on Saturday at Folsom Field (8:15 p.m., ESPN), has won three consecutive games and is currently one of only five teams unbeaten in Big 12 play.

With the Arizona game being on Fox, that is the sixth game this season that is slated for national network TV (ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox), setting a new school record. The previous record of five was set last year, breaking the old record of four from 1990.

The game at Arizona will be CU’s third appearance on Fox. They have also played once on NBC, once on CBS and have their Nov. 29 finale against Oklahoma State slated for ABC. Game times and TV assignments for the other four games (Oct. 26 vs. Cincinnati, Nov. 9 at Texas Tech, Nov. 16 vs. Utah and No. 23 at Kansas) have yet to be announced.

The K-State game will be CU’s second appearance on ESPN this season. All eight of the Buffs’ games that have been selected for TV have been on national networks or the ESPN flagship, which ties the school record set last year.
