A Denver Police Department sergeant has been charged with felony menacing following an incident where he allegedly pointed a weapon at someone earlier this month.
The alleged incident involving Sgt. Jason Brake occurred on East 96th Avenue in Commerce City on Oct. 3, according to a news release published Friday by the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
Brake was booked into the Adams County Detention Facility at 9:47 a.m. Friday and is being held on a $2,000 cash-surety bond, according to jail and court records.
