Colorado DMV statewide outage resolved

Colorado DMV statewide outage resolved

Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles offices temporarily canceled driver’s license appointments Thursday amid a statewide outage, state officials said.

The outage was resolved around 10 a.m. Thursday, state officials said.

State officials didn’t say what caused the outage, but reached out to reschedule morning appointments at state driver’s license offices with Coloradans looking to get or renew a driver’s license, ID card or instruction permit.

Online driver’s license and ID services were also unavailable during the brief outage, but county motor vehicle offices were not impacted, DMV officials said in a news release.

All DMV services — including driver’s license and ID card appointments, MV Express Kiosks, online services, county motor vehicle office services and DMV call centers — are fully operational as of 10 a.m. Thursday, state officials said.
