The National Police are searching for two men as alleged perpetrators of a stabbing in the Madrid district of Villa de Vallecas. The alleged attackers would have stabbed another man in the faceabout 60 years old, at the door of his house, during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
As explained by the Madrid Police Headquarters, the events occurred minutes before one in the morning in a ground floor located at number 12, Valdesaz Street. The attackers knocked on the window of the house and, when the victim opened it, he received a knife in the facenear the neck, by one of them shouting “gonorrhea”, an insult of Colombian origin.
After the attack, the Samur-Civil Protection paramedics went to the scene to treat the victim, who had damage to a vein and facial bone. Conscious, with advance notice and without need for intubation, he has been transferred to the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid.
The victim’s relatives have assured not knowing the attackerswho ran away from the scene. The Police have combed the area where the home is located and are collecting images from security cameras in the area. Thus, an investigation remains open to clarify the motive for the attack.
