“We do not want there to be an additional burden for people who have lost everything, who are in a moment of mourning, of healing, of recovering their lives. We do not want them to have to face bureaucratic procedures that slow them down. That is why the aid are direct. For example, what has to do with the Minimum Living Incomethat increase has already been incorporated into the December payroll. Non-contributory benefits will have an extra payment on November 18,” the minister explained in statements to La Sexta.

The Ministry estimates an approximate cost of 11.5 million euros for the 15% increase in the next three payrolls – from November to January – in the amount of the IMV and non-contributory pensions, which could benefit 33,000 households.
