The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office has supported that the businessman Victor de Aldamaalleged commission agent of Koldo case, get out of prison after this Thursday he declared that he paid cash commissions to senior officials such as the former minister José Luis Ábalos or the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán.
Víctor de Aldama has declared at his own request this Thursday morning before the magistrate of the National Court Ismael Moreno, who has acknowledged that he charged 5.5 million euros for intermediating various public contracts for masks during the pandemic, and that he also paid bribes to several senior officials.
At the end of his statement, his defense has requested his release from another magistrate, Judge Santiago Pedrazwho keeps him in preventive detention for a case of alleged hydrocarbon fraud. According to tax sources, the Public Ministry has reported in favor of De Aldama’s release from prison with the precautionary measures of withdrawal of his passport and the obligation to appear weekly in court.
