He City of Madrid has opened a sanctioning file against Mad Cool for having noise levels exceeded established in the authorization of the event that was held in July in the capital.
According to sources from the Urban Planning, Environment and Mobility area, the organizer had committed a very serious violation and two serious for exceeding the limits of maximum permitted sound levels. The total of the sanctions increases 22,001 euros, allowing payment with reduction.
This Tuesday, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis MartÃnez-Almeidaexplained that this is an issue that is usually common when it comes to large events, which have to respect sound limits.
“When there is a neighborhood complaint or simply ex officio we appear to measure exactly the number of decibels that there are in the city of Madrid, if it is exceeded the corresponding sanctioning procedure is processed,” he detailed.
