Andorra la VellaThe government has decided to extend the call for the economic aid program for the acquisition of electric vehicles, the e-Engega. Thus, and according to the BOPA published this Wednesday, the call will end on December 6 or when the allocated economic item, which climbs up to 750,000 euros, is exhausted. Initially, the deadline for submitting applications to enjoy this financial aid ended on November 15.
From the executive it is recalled that the renovation and improvement of the car fleet are two of the most efficient measures to achieve energy savings with positive effects in terms of the environment and road safety.
The new regulation on financial aid for electric mobility and for improving the energy efficiency of the national car park, approved on March 30, 2022, introduces limitations in the acquisition of vehicles, so that vehicles destined leasing, renting and renting are not eligible for aid.
In addition, the number of grants per applicant is limited and scrapping aid is eliminated. Changes have also been made to the process to make it more transparent.
At the same time, BOPA also publishes the first grants that have been awarded within the framework of the e-Engega program. In this sense, about fifteen subsidies have been awarded for an amount of more than 75,000 euros. The grants range from 3,000 to 9,700 euros.
