Andorra la VellaYoung Victorian Adrián Valladolid will remain in prison awaiting sentencing after he was arrested for possessing 500 grams of cannabidiol (CBD). The Justice has rejected the defense lawyer’s request that he be released once he has already been tried. Valladolid is facing a request for four years of confinement when he has already been in provisional prison for a year.
Valladolid is “very touched”, as his mother explains between tears, as she had hope. They do not understand the decision because the young man has already shown that he does not want to flee Andorra. If he had wanted, he could have left before the trial because the prosecution offered him only eight months, which he had served in provisional prison, if he pleaded guilty.
