Andorra la VellaThe price of housing has soared in the last three years to the point that if in 2021 the average price per square meter was 267,000 euros, it is currently 416,000. In percentage terms, the increase is 55% in three years. The increase shows how since the pandemic the market has not stopped greatly increasing the cost of housing.
The cost of the square meter was 2,600 euros in 2021, it went to three thousand a year later, it jumped to 3,700 in 2023 and 4,100 this year. The price increase has been widespread in all parishes, but especially in Escaldes. The latest information on the evolution of prices put over 6,000 euros per square meter in this parish.
In the third quarter of 2024, there was a 21.3% decrease in the number of real estate transactions compared to the third quarter of the previous year. There is a decrease of 21.3% in relation to the accumulated in the last twelve months, as published this Thursday by the Department of Statistics.
With respect to the number of real estate transferred, during the third quarter of 2023, they have decreased by 28.0% compared to the third quarter of 2023. All real estate transferred has experienced a decrease compared to the quarter of the previous year. The only exception is commercial premises and warehouses. In this case, they increase overall by 46.2%. The annual variation of the accumulated over the last twelve months shows a decrease of 24.2%.
