This occurs after presidents of football federations Spain, Morocco and Portugal met last Sunday in Madrid to continue advancing in the joint candidacy for the 2030 World Cup.
It was the first date that The president of the Moroccan Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, attended.

The candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Morocco compete by the World Cup organization with the one presented in August by Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguaywho are confident of hosting the World Cup event as they have the place where this competition was born.
FIFA will award the 2030 World Cup in December 2024.
