Sánchez promotes the candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Morocco for the 2030 World Cup to FIFA: “It is an ambitious project”

The acting president of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sanchezhas conveyed to the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, that “Spain is working with Portugal and Morocco on a solid candidacy for the 2030 World Cup, with an ambitious project.”

Sánchez himself has published a photo of the meeting and added that they have a clear idea: “Soccer is a sport with global reach that can transmit positive social values”.

This occurs after presidents of football federations Spain, Morocco and Portugal met last Sunday in Madrid to continue advancing in the joint candidacy for the 2030 World Cup.
