Andorra la VellaThe Palau de Gel d’Andorra was filled to capacity over the past weekend, exceeding initial expectations, although sales already started to increase from Thursday 5 December.
The most requested service has been the ice rink which reached its peak on Saturday with 792 tickets sold, and 101 tickets to the swimming pool (pool and splash). They have complemented this service with other activities such as the gym, the climbing wall and the restaurant.
Thus, from December 5 to 8, 1,634 tickets were sold for the ice rink and 160 for the swimming pool; a considerable number if, for example, it is taken into account that during the entire previous week 344 ice rink tickets and 105 pool tickets were sold. This beginning of the week the positive figures are maintained with a two-day cumulative of 119 tickets sold for the ice rink.
The president of the Board of Directors of the Palau de Gel, Jordi Alcobé is satisfied “of the results of this weekend and that the Palace is once again a driving force for the parish. The data tells us that we are on the right track to be a benchmark in the country for family tourism“.
The excellent reception shown by the users, during these days, has also become a good promotion of the facilities for future occasions. The Palau de Gel d’Andorra hopes to continue this positive trend in the coming weeks and is working to improve its offer for both residents and tourists and visitors.
