Andorra la VellaThe councilor of Ciutadans Compromesos, Carles Naudi, has reaffirmed his pro-agreement position, but he has acknowledged that Ciutadans Compromesos has members who have different complaints regarding the Association Agreement between Andorra and the European Union. In the microphones of RTVE, the Massanenc has affirmed that he works for yes and that some myths that existed regarding the Agreement have been disproved.
On the one hand, in the migration issue Naudi states that the number that Andorra will end up accepting of EU citizens is ridiculous compared to the 9 million tourists that Andorra receives without any kind of control. “The bad people who can come within these nine million sneak up on us anyway” explained Naudi.
In the economic aspect, Naudi has affirmed that the economic sectors currently already have foreign competition in the country and that since 2012 there has been this trend. It must be remembered that CC gave freedom of vote to its members in the European affair.
In short, Naudi explains that there has not been a “master party” and that it is common sense that there are different positions within the formation. The councilor of the Massana has revealed to Gabi Fernández that many people have pressured him so that the group is defined as a side.
“We have noticed a big difference compared to 2015. There was an institutional agreement that has disappeared. I think that with the current Agreement we gain sovereignty, we cannot live with our backs to Europe. We are induced by everything that happens in Europe “.
