Elon Musk, the entrepreneur of Tesla, SpaceX and the social network long night because of the tightness of the polls on who will be the winner.

According to sources close to the businessman, cited by the newspaper New York Times and ABC television, Musk is part of the close guests who will wait for the vote count at his Mar-a-Lago residence, in Palm Beach Florida).

The 53-year-old South African businessman is one of the staunchest supporters of the former president (2017-2021) and has completely turned over in supporting the MAGA movement (acronym for ‘Make America Great Again’).

The former president’s campaign has organized several events in Palm Beach, with different levels of exclusivity, including a dinner for a small number of donors at Mar-a-Lago and an even smaller gathering for those who will hang out with him during the night, according to the New York newspaper.

Trump also plans to appear at an event at the Palm Beach Convention Center later in the evening, where supporters of the MAGA movement have been waiting for him since early afternoon.

Musk has spent at least $119 million in a super PAC that supports the Republican and organized events on his behalf in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.

In addition, the businessman accompanied Trump this month at the symbolic rally that the former president held in the small town of Butler (Pennsylvania), the same place where He was almost murdered on July 13.

Trump voted with his wife, Melania Trump, this Tuesday morning at a Palm Beach voting center, where he was accompanied by former New York Mayor Rudy Giulliani.

“We are doing very well in Georgia (‘hinge’ state) and in all places,” Trump told the media accompanied by the first lady at the voting center in this city where his luxurious Mar-a-Lago complex is located.

Despite complaining about the probable delay and wait in computing the election results, Trump stated that, “if it is a fair election,” will be the first to recognize the results, although he did not go into specifying or developing that concept.

When asked by journalists, the former president explained that he will receive from 5:00 p.m. local time (22:00 GMT) at his Mar-a-lago residence about four or five thousand people to follow the scrutiny and projections of the results, among which is Musk.

Regarding the behavior of his followers and how they would react to an eventual adverse result, the former president (2017-2021) said that he does not plan to transmit any guidelines to them because, he noted, “They are not violent people.”

In a tweet published this afternoon, Musk, who has been very active all day, wrote the following: “The cavalry has arrived. Men are voting in record numbers. Now they realize that everything is at stake.”
