“I’m happy and blessed to be back. It took me some long ways to get there and I’m glad I can get back on the basketball court and help them win.”

However, coach Luigi Trillo said that Black wasn’t exactly planning to play as long as he did.
“Aaron’s not supposed to be getting these many minutes but we have guys down. It’s nice to see him back,” said the coach.
Fortunately, the Bolts had some ample jolt from import Akil Mitchell, who posted a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds.
Chris Newsome, who scattered 23 points, also lauded Black for returning to action in victorious fashion.
“It was great to see AB go out there and play again after everything he went through,” said the Gilas guard.
“Mentally, it was a lot for him. He struggled a bit but he got his rhythm back and he contributed to the team [was good],” added Newsome.
