“Impertinent”, “distractable”… the strange confrontation between two PP senators in the Koldo case commission

Senators Juan Sanz Vitorio and Eloy Suárez Lamata, both from the PPhave starred this Tuesday in a crossing of accusations due to interruptions during the appearance of a colonel of the Civil Guard in the commission of inquiry into all the ramifications of the case Koldo. In fact, accusations such as “impertinent” or “decentrable” have been leveled.

The ‘popular’ senator Eloy Suárez is the president of the investigation commission and has stopped the appearance due to the interruptions of his parliamentary group colleague during the speech of the colonel of the Civil Guard. Suárez has complained that Sanz Vitorio was misleading the defendantwarning that he was “decentering” even himself.

However, his benchmate has taken the floor to tell the president of the commission that he sees him as “very unfocused.” Given this, the president of the investigation commission He replied to Sanz Vitorio that he found him “quite impertinent.” “If they mislead me, since I am not intervening, I do not want to tell the person appearing what they mislead him,” Suárez added in a moment of tension in the room.

This situation is preceded by another exchange of accusations between Suárez and another PP senator, the former president of Extremadura José Antonio Monago. During his speech, he made reference to a hunt related to the colonel of the Civil Guard who was appearing and the alleged achiever of the Koldo plot, Victor de Aldama.

In this context, Monago has asked the colonel of the Civil Guard if the hunting day was “successful” and if “games were killed.” Thus, the president of the commission has rebuked that “it is difficult to understand the connection of this investigation commission with which they hunted a deer or a wild boar.

“Mr. President, with all the love in the world that I have for you, because you are my colleague, you understand little of this,” Monago responded in a somewhat ironic tone, although Suárez has reprimanded the former president of Extremadura, saying that he understands “zero” about hunting because he doesn’t like it “But I guarantee you that I have heard the statement in court three times and I know where the limits are“.

Senator Monago has begun his intervention in this commission of inquiry by making a plea in favor of Colonel Diego Pérez de los Coboswhich will go into reserve during the next few days.
