The record-breaking six-month PVL All-Filipino Conference enters its fifth week with a doubleheader at Cebu’s Minglanilla Sports Complex, a venue it will visit for the first time to mark a new chapter in taking the games to the fans as much as it can.

This makes the PVL’s stop in Cebu not just a showcase of high-level competition but also a nod to the region’s rich volleyball heritage.
The 4 p.m. showdown between red-hot Cignal and struggling Nxled will be the main fare of the day, with the HD Spikers parading the charming Vanie Gandler and star setter Gel Cayuna as they aim to add to the woes of the winless Chameleons.
Cignal will take a three-game winning streak into the game, which Nxled coach Ettore Guidetti feels is just another challenge to rally his squad to finally come together and play to their potential.

First win streak?
In the 6:30 p.m. game, the Capital1 Solar Spikers will be shooting to win back-to-back games for the first time in their PVL existence when they clash with another winless side in Galeries Tower.
Heather Guino-o, RJ Doromal, Rica Rivera and Leila Cruz led the Solar Spikers to the franchise’s first win last week and are eager to go for another, with the game against Galeries seen as the perfect chance for that.
Dimdim Pacres, Jhoana Maraguinot and France Ronquillo will lead the Highrisers.
