With the start of the school holidays and the arrival of the festivities, there are two essential events that mark the calendar: the Tió de Nadal, which the boys and girls will be able to poop for three days, and the visit of Father Christmas to the parish
The Tió de Nadal will take place this Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The giant figure is located at one end of the Christmas Market and can be accessed via La Rambla Molines. On Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve, Father Christmas will tour the parish throughout the afternoon and arrive at Plaça del Poble at 6 p.m.
The day will end with the Mass of the Rooster, at 12 at night, in the church of Sant Esteve. At the end of the celebration, chocolate, coke and muscatel will be distributed, as usual.
The Christmas Market opens every day until January 5 in Plaça del Poble, except December 25 and January 1. All the activities will also be underway, such as the skating rink, the activities of the Talleret dels Menairons and the Circus of Dreams in Plaça Guillemó. In the Neret space, the live performances will also continue with concerts by bands and DJs from the country.
In addition, from this Friday, December 20, and until January 5, you can see the winter show of the Fonts de la Rotonda every day at 8.30 p.m., with the theme Pitavoles, from the group Andorran Likantrópika, followed by the renowned Viva la vida, by Coldplay.
