Andorra la VellaThe Police arrested a 34-year-old man on Thursday morning as the alleged perpetrator of crimes against physical and moral integrity, for assault, and against freedom, for threats of death.
The events took place at a construction site in Escaldes-Engordany when the detainee appeared there to ask for an explanation after being fired a few days ago. When the workers asked him to leave, the man kicked the construction manager and threatened to kill him with an industrial utility knife with an 8.5 cm blade.
Later, the arrested person would also have wielded a large wooden stick to threaten another worker who tried to mediate and assaulted a third worker who would also have intervened to calm the situation. During the security search, the detainee was also found in possession of a jar with a liquid that tested positive for LSD and MDMA.
For this reason, he was also arrested as the alleged author of a crime against public health. Also, he is accused of a crime against the Constitution for having insulted one of the operators because of his origin.
