Florentino Perez has singled out the enemies of the real Madrid at the Assembly of delegate members of the club held this Sunday, November 24. The president of the white team has harshly charged against LaLiga, UEFA, FIFA and, especially, the Ballon d’Or organization, to which he demanded a change to recover the lost credibility, precisely since the arrival of UEFA to the organization of the award.
The Assembly began with the memory of the DANA victims and then gave way to the applause directed at players of the white team, both in football and basketball, such as Kroos, Nacho, Joselu, Sergio RodrĂguez and Rudy Fernández.
Florentino, who stated that he felt especially fortunate to be the president of Real Madrid, highlighted at all times what it means to be the best football club in the world, which is “in an enviable situation.” Likewise, he defended at all times both the entity as well as all those who are part of it.
The truth is that the numbers and votes of the members supported his words, since only nine did not support the economic situation and the management of the entity, compared to 1,790 votes in favor.
The president was especially critical of LaLiga and its president, Javier Tebas: “There is a lack of transparency on the part of the entity with the agreement with CVC and they wanted to expropriate the commercial rights of the club. With CVC They intended to expropriate 11% of the profits for half a century. 50 years! Whether we wanted to or not. Behind our backs. We regret the lack of transparency. “We are surprised, despite our insistence, how LaLiga justifies the money it distributes to clubs and media.”
Likewise, he stated that he did not trust the rest of the bodies that govern football: “FIFA has increased the number of stoppages and UEFA has created a Champions League that no one understands, the matches of the tournaments it had, in addition to launching a new tournament: the Club World Cup. Ten years ago it organized 488 matches and now, 760.”
He also did not forget to attack the Ballon d’Or voting system: “Rodrigo has all our love and deserved one. Let it be clear. But not this one. It had to be for a Real Madrid player, whatever criteria were applied.”
