Andorra la VellaThe opposition of the commune of Sant Julià de Lòria has expressed concern about the implementation of 21% of the planned investments until the third quarter, valued at two million euros. Councilor Josep Majoral considers that the percentage is insufficient and has asked for a detailed review of the 2024 budget.
The Consul Major, Cerni Cairat, assures that the year will close with 67% of investments made, a figure he describes as “correct” and similar to previous years. However, he argues that the deviations detected in the Lauredi Cultural Center project have required thorough checks.
Another obstacle, according to Cairat, is the difficulty of attracting companies for public tenders. This, he says, is due to the high volume of activity in the private sector. Mayoral, however, considers that it is not an excuse to justify the limited execution.
Finally, during the communal session, an increase in the access fee to the Claror field and other allocations to improve local infrastructure, including a sanitation system and a mapping project, were approved.
