At least two people have died in the shipwreck of one boat which has ended off the coast of the Almeria town of Adra. Two people have been rescued alive and another seven are missing.
According to sources from the 112 Andalusia Emergency Service, around 5:30 p.m. this Thursday the Civil Guard alerted the 112 services of the sinking of a boat with eleven people inside. The migrants had apparently set sail from Morocco, about five miles off the coast of Adra.
Civil Guard troops have traveled to the scene of the events and Maritime Rescuewho have deployed their aerial means to locate the missing, without results so far. The two rescued people, about whom no further information has been released, have been transferred to be treated in the port of Almeria.
