Back from her Philippine women’s volleyball team stint, Palomata has been instrumental in the High Speed Hitters’ first two wins for the share of the early 2-0 league lead with the Akari Chargers.

“Siguro yung maturity as a player [yung madadala ko].

With Palomata on the sidelines, PLDT made it to the Reinforced semifinals only to fall to Akari in five sets in heartbreaking and controversial fashion after a crucial net fault call.

Now that she’s back, the 6-foot-3 middle blocker is eager to make up for lost time, familiarizing herself with coach Rald Ricafort’s system anew.

PLDT eyes its third win against Capital1 on Tuesday at Philsports Arena.
