Andorra la VellaCreand Crèdit Andorrà celebrates one year since the launch of the first pack of banking products and services aimed at 12- and 17-year-olds in the country. One in two customers between these ages already has this pack of products and services. The good reception is such that 51% of Teens are new customers for the bank. These data demonstrate the need that this part of the population had for an offer tailored to their size. Creand Crèdit Andorrà thus responds to all age segments.
Teens Creand allows minors to have a current account, online banking, a Visa debit card and the Bizum service, adapted to their needs and under parental control and supervision, for free and without fees. Of all the products, the one that generates the most interest is the debit card. Almost 100% of customers between these ages have a Teens card or Carnet Jove 16.30. The cards are mostly used in the national market and the average amount of purchase operations is 10 euros and of repayments is 35 euros.
This pack gives families the possibility to give young people autonomy with tools to manage their finances responsibly and safely while working on their financial education. Teens Creand’s parental control allows the minor’s parents or guardians to monitor account movements from their online banking and receive notifications via SMS generated by the minor’s activity. They can also request the registration or cancellation of the service or any of its products at any time.
Creand Crèdit Andorrà positions itself alongside the youngest to encourage the habit of saving and for them to learn to manage their economy responsibly and does so with products and services adapted to their needs, with Financial Education sessions at schools, but also with the sponsorship of events with this objective.
