This was stated by the magnate this Tuesday in an interview with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, shared through the social network. As he explained, charging “a small payment” is “the only way” to deal with ‘bots’, since, although a small fee is charged for each profile, By having to pay for all the profiles of a set of bots, “the effective cost is very high.”
Likewise, Musk has also detailed that Every time a user creates a ‘bot’, they will not be able to do so with the same payment method, but you would need a new one. However, it has not been specified exactly how much it would cost to maintain an active X account, since it has only been stated that it will be “a very small amount of money.”
In addition to all this, this paid version will be different from the X Premium subscription (previously Twitter Blue), since users who have this version of the social network will continue with the same advantages in their account, such as access to X Pro (TweetDeck) or the possibility of creating longer posts, and with the same price.
