The Seu d’UrgellA fire has affected a home in La Seu d’Urgell this Saturday afternoon. The fire started in a one-story room at number 7 of Plaça de Joan Sansa, in the heart of the city, according to reports Radio Seu.
According to the General Directorate of Emergencies, the warning was received after 2/4 of 4 in the afternoon, when it was reported that fire was coming from a building in the area. Seven units of the Generalitat Fire Brigade have been dispatched to the scene, which have worked to extinguish the flames.
Emergencies have also reported that the fire has basically affected the room where it had started, but that the smoke generated has spread to the whole floor and also to a house next door. As a precautionary measure, the entire block of flats has been evacuated.
