An alleged drug trafficker who was on a semi-rigid boat died early this Thursday in a collision with a patrol car of the Civil Guard near Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in Cadiz. In addition, two officers have been slightly injured due to bruises.
The collision took place at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River during a drug trafficking prevention service. “The drug traffickers abandoned their wounded companion, leaving him without assistance on the shore of Huelva,” sources from the armed institute have pointed out.
It was the Civil Guard agents who performed resuscitation maneuvers on him and transferred him to the patrol car. However, there was nothing they could do to save his life. They could only confirm the death.
