Members of the Rescue and Rescue Group of the Junta de Castile and León They located this morning the lifeless body of a male during the tasks of search for Sergio García Franco, the 37-year-old man who disappeared two days ago in the Palencia town of Fresno del Río, according to sources from the 112 Emergency Service.
The body was found by the helicopter of the aforementioned group in one of the banks of the Carrión Riverwithin the Palencia district of Mantinos, so now the Civil Guard is carrying out the procedures to identify the deceased.
The Civil Protection and Emergency Agency of the Government of Castilla y León, in coordination with the Civil Guardhas deployed this Tuesday a search device that includes an advanced command post with technicians from the Emergency Coordination Center and the Logistics and Emergency Support Unit, the Rescue and Rescue Group, in addition to the “Fénix” drone unit.
They have also been activated volunteers of the groups of Civil protection from Cervera de Pisuerga, Frómista and Almanza and environmental agents.
Agents from various units of the Civil Guard were also participating in the search for the missing man, including a helicopter and drones, as well as City Hall firefighters Palencia.
