Begoña Gómez has presented new evidence that shows that an advisor hired by Moncloa participated in the management of labor affairs of the wife of the President of the Government. On November 15, some messages from this advisor came to lightCristina Álvarez, related to the Gómez chair at the Complutense University of Madrid. Now it has been Gómez’s defense who has handed over to the judge Juan Carlos Peinado some emails to try to prove Gómez’s innocence regarding the crime of intrusion with which he is accused, but it so happens that Álvarez’s email appears among their recipients.
One of the crimes charged against the wife of Pedro Sanchez It is that of intrusion, due to the signing of some technical specifications within the framework of the Chair of Competitive Social Transformation that he co-directed at the Complutense. With the intention of proving his client’s innocence, Begoña Gómez’s lawyer, Antonio Camacho, has delivered some emails to the court in which the UCM management indicates that “the technical specifications sheet must be signed by Begoña Gómez.”
Cristina Álvarez not only appears as the recipient in all the emails submitted to the Court of Instruction number 41 of Madrid. Additionally, the university’s patent management office sent several messages directly addressed to Álvarez. These are two emails in which the office sends a contract for the transfer of rights, but they are not sent directly to Gómez, but to Moncloa’s advisor. “Dear Cristina,” both messages begin.
The emails provided by Gómez’s lawyer confirm the collaboration of this advisor in Begoña Gómez’s personal businesses, a reality that already appeared in the case summary. The summary included an email sent by Álvarez to the director of Institutional Communication and CSR of Reale, Pilar Suárez-Inclán, with the aim of ensuring that the company did not abandon its sponsorship of the chair in Social-Competitive Transformation of the wife of the president of the Government.
“Begoña tells me to transfer you that she would love for you to continue as patrons of the chair, even if it is with a lower amount. Willing to collaborate with you in whatever you need,” the message read.
