Andorra la VellaOn October 31, 2024, the resident population in the Principality of Andorra amounts to 86,801 people, which represents an increase of 2.7% (2,285 more people) compared to October 2023 as indicated by the data from the Department of Statistics. This growth is mainly concentrated in the parishes of Andorra la Vella (499 more residents, an increase of 2.1%), Encamp (465 more residents, a 3.7% increase), Escaldes-Engordany (369 more residents, a 2.4% more), La Massana (309 more residents, 2.7% more), Canillo (299 more residents, 5.3% more) and Sant Julià de Lòria (about 222 more residents, 2.3% more). The parish that has grown the least has been Ordino (about 122 more residents, 2.3% more).
By nationality, the annual increase measured in October is concentrated in the group of other nationalities with a total of 1,768 more people (14.0%), followed by people of Andorran nationality with 410 more people ( 1.1%), of Spanish nationality with 182 more people (0.9%) and of French nationality with 40 more people (1.1%). People with Portuguese nationality registered a decrease of 115 people (1.3%) compared to the same month of the previous year.
73.3% of the population is concentrated between the ages of 15 and 64 and the population under 15 represents 11.3%, while the population over 64 represents 15.4% remaining
Regarding the population registered in the municipal censuses on October 31, 2024 (92,593 people), there is an increase of 3.1% compared to the population registered in the same month of 2023 (89,787 people).
